Two dwarven thieves. Two mirrored dungeons. One goal.

Activate magical doors, chug the potions of power, and work together to steal the legendary treasures of the Dungeon of Simmaxis.

You and your brother are split across identical but mirrored paths. Only together can you unlock the puzzles and grab the loot.

  • Potent Potions: Harness the power of flight, strength, and iron feet to overcome every obstacle and collect health vials to overcome your enemies. Each potion’s effect is shared across both brothers through their mystical bond.
  • Color-Coded Cooperation: Six magical symbols, six matching doors. When one brother activates a symbol, in the other brother’s dungeon some doors will open and some will close. Think ahead and sync your moves to solve the shifting puzzle.
  • Mouse-Only Meandering: On-screen movement and action buttons for both players. Hotkeys for those who like it hot.
  • Unholy Symmetry: Your paths are reflections. Your moves must be in sync… or not?
  • Cross Dimensional: 2D sprites of enemies, potions, traps, loot, and a 2D minimap of a 3D world.
  • Built with One Tileset: Every pixel from the Kenney's Tiny Dungeon pack.

Thanks for checking back. I planning to make something very similar in the not too far future. I'll let you know once it's available.

Below is my feedback. I submitted to KenneyJam too.

  • Style and Theme - Very cool, your use of turning Tiny Dungeon assets to 3D. Creative way to go!
  • Mechanics - Seems standard far as maze explorer games; it's remind me of a lot of 90's classic MS Dos dungeon crawlers. Mechanics here aren't unique per se. I think mashing more features to help make this game stand out.

Recommendation:

  1. Adding enemies may help this feel better in terms of having things to do in the world. From what you'd done with the world layout, it gives Minecraft vibes, expect enemy and npc interaction is all missing.
  2. Trying night-mode level with a flash-light fog of war in the map. That'd really given this a breath of fresh air and atmosphere as we wander the maze.

Hey, thanks! I'm a big fan of the 90's classics, so I guess it shows. I was planning to add enemies too, since the asset pack had some fun ones, but didn't have the time for it.

Initially I have added torchlight, but the second viewport started to glitch because of it, so I had to remove it.

I wanted to add a minimap too.

I also played with the idea to add some Sokoban mechanics. The crates in the storage room would have been suitable for it.

But in the end, I had only 48 hours, and and in reality even less, so instead I focused on creating something stable.

Good news: I'm actively working on the post-jam version. I have already added the following:

- music

- footsteps, flying, door opening, gate opening, and potion pick up sound effects

- a potion pick up visual effect, a flying animation and a switch activation animation

- fixed some asset import issues, and hopefully the texture glitch on mobile

And not only these, I'm also planning to add all that we mentioned above, so stay tuned. ;)

Really neat game idea, I like that two people can play with one keyboard. Great job!

Thank you! Were you able to finish the game?

So I was playing alone :( I'm going to try with my son later on and I'll let you know :)
